I have recently purchased a Ford Fiesta 1.4 2010 Plate

Managed to drive it 30 Mile home down the motorway and not a single problem

Next day drove 3 mile from home and it ground to a halt at a T Junction

Tried to move off as normal but nothing after getting out and letting my passenger try i could see that the brakes had locked on.

Let them cool and eventually drove home and took the wheel off took the caliper bolts out and greased the slides.

The caliper itself had been remanufactured and looks great but the piston was stuck all the way out this i thought was my problem

Managed to pump the brake and grease the piston to try and loosen it and it went back into place.

Refitted it all and it managed to drive me the 7 mile to work and then back of the afternoon but i noticed a shaking and loss of power when arriving back to find it had happened again!

Is this a common thing in remanufactured calipers and i need to get some use out of it?

Any other ideas on what i could do?

Have left it with my a family mechanic who is going to bleed the brakes then re do the above just wondered if its something anyone else can help cure?
