Ford Fiesta 2001 engine part
Discussion
Damaged part on the Ford Fiesta that is stopping the water from pumping through to cool the engine.
I have no idea what the part is or where to start looking.
Hopefully the photo's can help with identification. I can take a different picture if these don't help
Would appreciate any help that can be given.
Thanks
Heater Control Valve, common part to fail.
If you set the heater to hot it should pump through, it fails where it doesn't redirect the coolant when it's set to cold.
Of course this will make the inside of your car unbearable in the recent heat we've been having, but will stop the car overheating!

When the engine gets hot, the coolant is trying to pump through. The pipe should be attached to that plate to allow the coolant through and cool it down, but it's just leaking out.
The Pipe with the L on it, it secure. The other pipe has come away with the plastic that it attaches to.
