Replacement TDCI Engine

Friends Galaxy diesel has slipped the cambelt and lunched the engine.

Any recommendation about trusted places to provide a recon or engine out of a breaker?

Is it the 1.8 engine?

Unless they upload video of it running I'd be looking towards the likes of motor hog

So the car is in a garage in Hitchin.
They bought one engine - fitted and proclaimed faulty,
Then a second engine - fitted and proclaimed faulty.

They are now looking to offload the car saying £400 and they will take the car to any garage I select or £1000 to fit another engine but on the proviso that I must supply the engine.

Its an 07 Galaxy 1.8 TDI so any garage recommendation in Baldock, Royston Luton areas that know their way round the world of Galaxy Diesels would be useful!
