Focus rs clutch

Hi all,
bit of advice needed
Took a focus rs mk2 out for a test-drive today great car BUT the clutch????

Very soft going down and a bit of a jump half way up (pulling away and into second)
Is this normal? Is it a ford thing? (My other car is a Subaru and the clutch has a lot of feel)

It's a normal thing, you get used too it after a while. It catches most ST owners out when they first pull away after upgrading to the RS clutch.

I have a RS clutch in my ST, its a lot stiffer then the normal ST clutch
