Ford Puma - tyre recommendations
Discussion
Hi all, I'm soon to take ownership of a '99 V Puma 1.7, really looking forward to it, have driven a few over the years in the motor trade but never owned one before.
I have a question about tyres.
The car has P6000s on the back and some obscure Roadstones on the front.
I gather the P6000s are notorious for poor wet weather grip (but dry is ok?)
As for the Roadstones.... Who knows!
The tyres are all fairly old and cracked so I want to replace them all.
The question is....what with?
I will be using the car every day and I don't want to loose the standard ride and handling balance.(which I find excellent as per the reviewed etc)
I've read good things about Uniroyal Rainsports.
What are people's recommendations?
Many thanks!

I assume that your talking size 195/50/15, which means that whilst there's some decent options available, you won't get the latest launch tyres such as the Pilot Sport 4. Have a look here:

I've just fitted some Vredestein Sportrac 5s, which are excellent and a bargain. Pilot Sport 3s would be another good option.
