Help!! Ford Fiesta Ztec MK5 w reg

Hi guys!!
I have a ford fiesta ztec mk5 w reg year 2000

I do a bit of work to my car but I need some help, My A/C doesn't work and the car doesn't blow cold air, It's permanently hot!

I've been told it could be the heater fan resistor as I know its common to go on ford's but before I try it, is there any other suggestions it could be?
It's been bugging me for a while now and I don't want to do work I don't have too

It's likely to be he heater control valve on the cooling system. Common fault and dirt cheap part
