Cortina Master Cylinder / Servo Girling to ATE
Discussion
Hi all,
If anyone on PH has any knowledge of this please could you let me know.
I've got a Mk4 Cortina 1600, needs a new Brake Servo as it's been stored in a garage for 20 odd years, still has the original Girling part.
New servo arrived but it's an ATE not a Girling. If I continue with the ATE I'll need an ATE Master Cylinder which is no problem as it needs a new one anyway, but are the ports a different thread on the ATE compared to the Girling? If they are this will cause extra work on the existing pipework.
Also, I guess I may have to adapt the brackets that hold the servo to the bulkhead too?
Thanks
