Fiesta 1.6 tdci diesel turbo question
Discussion
Hi All,
Hope someone can help me out here. I'm looking to buy a second hand (private sale) 1.6tdci Fiesta 2011 car and I've read about some issues with oil starvation in the turbo leading to failure. I believe this is mainly around earlier cars 2006-09 but I'd like to know if the problem it was fixed or at least improved on later models. Car appears to have full service history and 36,000 miles. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Mark.

Generally later ones are fine.
