If you're thinking of parting with your ST220, I think there are a few people on mondeoSToc.com who would snap your hand off! Me included if I could justify owning 2 laugh

I think the issue there is that no one would pay what I'd want for it! Hence my thread about storing it or using it. If you know anyone who would pay top money for what is basically a new car then feel free to get them to contact me! I don't need a 3L V6 any more, I'm looking at a small run about!! Dear God....

Have you tried calling the general customer service number? They should have contact details. I think you will be looking for a Paul Harding (may have changed but I don't think so)

Ideally wanted an email address so I could send details of what I have. I've also got a Mk1 V6 Mondeo with full RS kit, can't be many left now & rather than see it go to scrap in the near future would love for them to have it! I'll do some more digging & give them a call if nothing comes up.

If you can post a couple of pics for me to use, and a rough guide price I'll gladly spread the word. It'd be nice for the car to go to a home it'd be appreciated in.

That's great, thanks for the info wink I'll dig the Fast Ford mags pictures out (got them on CD somewhere!) and post them up. As for price, that's the difficult one, this car s like it's 6 months old, back then you'd be looking at £17-£18k, I'm not expecting that but there is no way I'd let it go for the WBAC quote of £7200!

Oh no, there are cars with 30-40,000 miles on advertised at that price, yours would definitely command a premium. Yeah if you get chance to post the pics I'll happily spread the word.

Here are the Fast Ford pics, these were taken when it was virtually new but in all honestly it looks the same today having spent most of it's life in a garage frown Criminal I know but if you aren't there to drive it you simply can't!!

about the only blemish is some very slight corrosion on an alloy where moisture gets under the paint, annoying considering the mileage but I guess damp climate at the end of the day. Car is currently SORN (tax ran out March) & has no MOT but would obviously stick 12 months MOT on it, I know 100% it will pass!!! Any questions feel free to ask.

Great stuff, I'll spread the word and tell anyone to get in touch then. What's the best email address to contact you on?

Looking at the pics I realised they were before I added some parts, the car has the extra weather strip fitted to the bonnet lips & also the plastic strut covers. These were deleted on the later cars to save some money! I also fitted the bumper foam pads when new to stop the bumper dropping :-

There are also a set of mats in the boot that have never been sued (still in plastic wrapping), spare wheel centre caps as they corrode and spare sill scuff plates as these get scratched. Finally the Xenons have 6K Philips Ultinon fitted and the original 4k factory ones are in a box in the boot!

& if Ford heritage don't want it then I'll be keeping it, I can't wait for it to be become a classic old Ford! When cars are this age it usually attracts the dreamers who think it worth no more than one that has done 100k miles. That's fine by me smile
