A work colleague of mine is due delivery now mid April (was originally 1st March).

Rumour has it problems with engine mounts and gearbox oil seals have caused a bit of a hold up. Not unusual, as far as I can remember both the Mk1 and Mk2 RS were late as well.

If yours has slipped that late it sounds like your dealer has made a balls up with your order!

Not sure what is going on with the first post in this thread to be deleted then quoted by the OP , but if you placed your order in the very first batch at the end of September 2015 therefore getting the car at the original list price of £28940 + extras, there is no way you should have slipped back 6 months +. Well not unless the whole initial production run has also slipped back by this amount.
There definitely are delays though, because first deliveries were originally scheduled for this month.
