So...... I currently live in Cyprus due to her majesty sending me there. Perk of that is I can get a tax-free car. I'm seriously looking at the new Ford Edge Sport which I can get a huge saving on. I currently drive a Citroen C-Crosser (basically a Mitsibushi Outlander) and am looking for something a bit bigger with a premium feel. Are there any of these in the showrooms in the UK yet and has anyone driven one? What are your opinions of it? Is it substantially bigger than the Kuga?

Thanks. I've already got the info pack and I've had a look at the ford uk website where you can build and spec your car. Just wondering if anyone had seen one in the flesh.

Edge isn't launched until the summer - dealers won't have any for a couple of months yet. Looks good though!

I like the look of the Sport version too, I just wish they would do a very powerful (preferably petrol) engine as an option.
I know Autotrader have reviewed one and I think some other mags have too.
My impression is was that it was bigger than the Kuga but a bit smaller than something like the VW Touareg.

I could be wrong, maybe someone could list the measurements?

I've specced a sport up for myself with the lux pack and a few extras and work out I'll save 13 grand on one. Would be silly to pass that up!

From what i've seen and read, it is bigger than the Kuga, and will have class leading bootspace and rear seat space (I believe it'll be bigger than the X3/Santa Fe).

I don't want to commit to buying one though until I see some proper UK reviews on it.
