I guess no matter how hard I tried to avoid someone pranging the car it just wasn't enough.

No scrape marks luckily, but it appears someone has reversed/drove at slow speed into the rear offside corner and now there is a panel gap. Might not look much on the photo, but I see it as soon as I walked back to the car. If I push the bumper toward the front of the car it seals the gap, but pops back and if you tap the bumper on the side, or push on it you can see how loose it is compared to the other side, it pops back at you. The bottom of the picture, above the wheel arch is roughly how the gap should be, towards the top and the light cluster is where it has come away.

Anyone have an idea how to tighten this up? Thanks. It looks like the bumper slides on metal rails towards the front of the car. As when I move the bumper above the arch it exposes these rails

P.S I know it needs a wash, but I only washed, polished and waxed the car a few weeks back. smile

If it's anything like the old MK6, then you'll just need a new set of clips to pop it back on properly.

Thanks

Easy to do myself? I'll pop into Fords and price up the bits. I'm guessing I can get to them through the wheel arch liner?

I would guess you'll be able to see them through the wheel arch. I'm sure Ford would be able to tell you, but on the last model, the bumper is removed by just pulling it quite hard!
