Bit of an odd one here:

Using the door or remote I can lock both doors, but when I come to unlock the car only the drivers side opens. I can manually unlock the passenger side from inside though.

I'm thinking it must be something I've done since like a dead lock or similar since it will lock but not unlock.

Any ideas?

I can't remember if there is a setting for it but check the trip computer settings for door unlock. It may be set to unlock drivers door only

Sounds like the remote has been programmed to only unlock the drivers door.
Press and hold lock and unlock on the remote at the same time for a few seconds until the indicators flash to confirm the change has been made.

Hmmmmm, car is being stubborn.

Holding down the lock/unlock buttons and the indicators flashed as if something has happened, but still only unlocks one side. Still locks both though!

Should the car start with both unlocked? Just drivers? Or both locked?

Should also say, what was written above is what the manual says.

I've sat in the car with driver unlocked, passenger locked and held both down until flashed quickly. Pressed unlock and it made the unlocking noise only on driver side. Pressed them again until flashes, pursed unlock and same result.

The unlocking via internal lock doesn't do both either.

From reading the manual this should swap between modes but I can't see any difference in mode here.
