Fiesta ST (current gen) vs C2 VTS - ride quality

I'm seriously considering upgrading from my little C2 VTS to a current gen Fiesta ST. Have heard the ride on the Fiesta is difficult to live with, but then again I heard the same about the C2 and I've had it 6 years now...

Has anyone lived with both? Is there a major difference on UK roads or they both just as bad as each other? Suspect the Fiesta will probably rattle less though!

I have had a fiesta st2 from new, now done 19,000 miles in it. I have not once thought it was difficult to live.

I think you get used to it.... however hitting the odd pot hole i just this ouch to myself !

I've got a ST2 after coming from a 3 series, and to be honest the 3 series was more uncomfortable / stiff than the fiesta. I find it really comfortable, but yes just avoid pot holes and the like!
