Fiesta washer failure

My daughters 2011 Fiesta windscreen washer has stopped working, she took it to the garage and they have tried the following with out success
1, replaced fuse
2, replaced washer motor
3, replaced stalk
Car is now at the main dealer for diagnosis, but there only seems to be the loom left, any ideas greatly recieved
