S-Max purchased !

Bought a 2012 S-Max Titanium X Sport on Sunday, collect on Friday.

Its the 2.2 TDCI with 200PS, and it'll be coming with a Blufin Remap - ~230 BHP ~500NM Torque.

Strangely, I'm looking forward to getting this. Its nice enough inside and suitably comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised with the drive, and I think the remap will help give it some more umpf.

Are there any 'must do' things with these (unlocking things with an OBD cable etc)

find my Mondeo hussles along quite nicely with 200 horses, imagine the similar weight smax will be quite brisk with 230 horses and 500nm torque.

Not many in Tit X spec, let alone with the 2.2.

Any interesting options? (like the panoramic roof?)

It's got that, but I thought that was standard?

It has the usual stuff like Nav, Heated seats, push button start, electric seats, etc etc

Is there any way to find out what it was built with?

When using ETIS where exactly should I be looking.

The one that I think shows it has about 200 options listed, with some marked as 'Less' ... is that the right area?

So I think the options are:

Seat pack (8 way adjustable power front seats and Powerfold mirrors)
Keyless Entry
DAB nav plus and wrap view camera
Space Pack (sun blinds and seat back trays)

Panoramic roof is standard.

Heated seats are an option, are they heated and cooled as well?

Nice one. We've had our 2011 2.0 Ecoboost 240 S-Max for 3 years now and put 50K trouble free miles on it (just passed 60k miles in total). The engine is still standard, but now we've decided to hang on to it another year I'm tempted to try the 260bhp Bluefin remap.

Have the same engine in my just bought '63 Mondeo estate. Should be good in a SMax.

Thinking about the Blufin, are you getting it already mapped, or doing it later? Be curious to hear your opinions on the Blufin if you wouldn't mind?
