Paint Code

Does anyone know where I might be able to find the paint code for a '99 V reg Fiesta Mk5 Ghia. I've had a look on the VIN plate under the bonnet, but I don't know what I'm looking for. The car is Moondust Silver.

It won't be on the VIN plate, but there should be another plate that is body colour, that will have the code on it, your local ford dealer should also be able to tell you by checking the vehicle reg or chassis number on their system.

Cheers Paul. Have you got any ideas as to where this plate is. I've tried ringing 3 different Ford dealers with all the details, and all they tell me is what I already know, which is the car is Moondust Silver.

The paint code IS on the vin plate if you know where to look for it.

Thank goodness It's only the mirror housing that needs painting.Hopefully If the match is near enough, it should'nt stick out too much.(I hope) I know what you mean though.
