Im moving jobs and having put the old head unit back in my ford van I have found that the code supplied is wrong.

I have the model and serial number of the unit if anyone could get me a code I would be very happy.

Oh ace. Radio in my van has been useless for a few months since I swapped the battery. Would you mind doing me too if I dig out the S/N?

I bought a bit of software off Ebay for 99p a while ago to generate Ford Radio codes. Will have a look to see if I can find it, but if not might be worth your while doing the same?

I used to work with someone who couldn't get her Ford radio to work, she joined a Ford forum to ask for advice, problem was solved when a mate got her to press, rather than twiddle the knob.

The older units with "M" serial numbers are easy, there's a link on Pumaspeed IIRC, however the newer unts have "V" serial numbers and you need the part number, serial number and access to Ford's Oasis (I think) system.

Its a 6000NE model woth a V prefix serial number
V002496 im on attempt 5 now and I dont want to lock the unit out completely as it is my company van, I have to wait 30 mins after each wrong code.

It is iritating as I made sure I had what I thought was the correct code before I removed the original unit and fitted my head unit
