I have a 1994 Mondeo 24v and looking to upgrade the brakes without spending a fortune. Is this possible- i.e. swap for slightly larger discs?

Only problem is the standard 15 inch wheels they need to fit behind.

Wanna take it for an excursion round the Nurburgring (nothing to do with Top Gear last night LOL) and I know the brakes will cook big time...

Any advice appreciated.

Your not going to get big brakes inside 15" rims m8.
The best thing to do if you must stay on the 15's is a good set of pads and a change of fluid for dot 5

The like for like upgrades for these brakes are a lot of money, as stated the best thing to do if on a budget is put in good pads and braided hoses to get more feel. I remember looking at Tarox grooved discs and they were a lot of money, the guy in the shop told me that the only ones more expensive were for a porsche 911!!
