replacing a Focus reversing light bulb
Discussion
Aye, it's getting to the bulbholder that I'm stuck on, I can't see how to remove the clear plastic lens in order to get at the bulbholder. There's a tab wotsit that you can see in the pic (the square-shaped piece with a recess to the right of the black rectangle) which presumably has something to do with releasing the housing (which is full of water) but after wiggling it in every direction i'm getting no joy.

Brilliant, thanks Lu51fer, that explains why I couldn't get it off, I was pushing the tab down but not in. Thanks again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsFF2jExZ1E

Well, I don't know for sure if it's the bulb, the housing is full of water so it could be corrosion in there, either way I need to empty it out. Seems a crazy design tbh, where they've put it it's bound to collect water.
Well hopefully its just a blown bulb, the switch is a bit more of a mission! LuS1fer said:
The switch is a 5 minute job with a spanner under the front of the car on my Fiesta. Gearbox sensor had failed - about a tenner if it is.
The focus one you need to remove the battery and battery holder, remove air filter top and holder, then you can get to the sender (22mm spanner) Gassing Station | Ford | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
