I am 6'2" and have a G27 though I did modify the footwell to give a few more inches legroom. If you have a Zetec engine this works though a Pinto has the exhaust manifold on the driver's side and consequently you get very hot feet this way.
I'd recommend trying especially if you have big feet Mine are size 11 it's possible but there's not masses of room.

There's one for sale in Folkestone at the moment if you fancied a drive South, but apparently the car and seller may be a bit suspect so I'd imagine he wouldn't take too kindly if you wanted to try it for size (see the "G27 for ridiculous money" thread.
Here's the link anyway: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ginetta-G27-1800TC-KIT-Car-1...

Yes, got my eye on that very one ! Why suspect ? Does anyone have knowledge of this car ?Here's the link anyway: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ginetta-G27-1800TC-KIT-Car-1...
Indeed. P 883 VVL was mine. I am 5 11 and fitted it fine. It was a Pinto engined example, but that blew up whilst going round Spa. Then a Zetec was fitted. It's over priced at the moment. According to the DVLA I still own the car... I sold the car in August/Sept 2009! You would need to see the car, I don't think it's in the condition the seller is saying it is. I think the going rate is 1 to 2 thousand pounds lower than they want to sell it for. I'd need to dig out some old emails to find out when they picked it up, on behalf of the person who bought it from me...

Sounds like I should give it a wide berth. Bummer.eps said:
If you can get them down to 4k or so then it should be a good buy. Otherwise in my honest opinion there is too much work to do to it to raise it to the value that they have set against it.
Thanks mate, wont ring you as im not going to even try to knock 2k off ! shame, looks good in the adRs2oo said:

I would! If I had 4k lying around right now I would go for it at 4k or lower. They didn't buy the car, they are looking to recuperate "storage costs" - they blatantly don't know what they are selling.i agree 4K would be a reasonable sales price.
