ta for that - I have had an S and a Chim and used to them having a lot of little niggles but nothing seriously mechanically wrong with them. The G33 has teh same engine as the Chim so performance is near on identical and the exhaust tone is still there
Just be interested to know how they compare in terms of ownership, public reaction, maintenance costs, the amount little things break... etc etc

The '33 has a better (imo) engine note than any TVR. Although I think they're slightly less substantial than a TVR, but there were only about 100 built. They're a real headturner and people are really interested in what they are and where they come from. The 33s were only ever factory built, so not really at the same level as the 27, I would suggest looking at the owners club site and also searching around. There are usually one or two for sale on there..
Had my factory-built G33 V8 since 1992, used occasionally on road but mainly in hillclimbs & sprints where it's been very competitive (lots of cups!) Was good fun on the road as standard & very reliable, although only done 15,000 miles even now. Heavily modified 2 years ago so different beast altogether now, not so comfortable or reliable but superfast on track.
