Feeling bored at the moment, so I'm considering purchasing an unregistered G27R hillclimb car I've seen for sale and making the mods required to get it through an SVA/IVA.

A reasonable project or just opening can of worms???

Any comments welcome

i think the necessary work which is needed to pass an IVA test and make the car roadlegal is not in relation to the investment.

properly registered G27´s are not very expensive. with a bit of luck you will get a nice car for 3500,- to 4000,- pound.

Hmmm, thanks. I figured a good registered G27 (Zetec) would be more like £6-7k depending on age of course? The race car would be c. £5k

There don't seem to be many for sale that I can find, hence considering the IVA challenge!

Cheers
