At the Autosport show. pic lifted from autosport show pics thread here on PH so don't suppose Tim will mind... plug plug...

Note it's taxed! Are we going to get that first road-going Ginetta from Lawrence this year then? Must have a closer look on Sunday.

Looks better imo than the G50 - like the swave panel obscured by the Ginetta G40 wording, but those ugh! bulky door mirrors mounted halfway along the door - awful!! Must be a better door mirror compromise than that.

yeah..finally the G40, though not my collor and wheels, its here at last biggrin

I think they better put side mirrors some sort like those

http://www.hspnnews.com/index.php/article/endless_...

but maybe its the new rules to get a car on the road...I remembered that Artega also had to put bigger side mirrors on their cars cause of those rules.

The more you look at it, the better it looks imo.
You could be right Stew2000!

If they get the price right (leave it as was announced) and it is for the road, they could do VERY well. Time will tell.

Blimey, it has tax and number plates and everything! If that is a road demonstrator i.e it is developed to fit and finish level i'm heading to Leeds with my Cheque Book. :up

Mirrors (MINI ones!) are to comply with new EU regs, and the car has number plate lights at rear... they MUST be going to make road G40s.

Rear end treatment (boot) is superb in my opinion, nothing like a smaller G50. Well done.

As Bob always said, right price and you corner the market (as they did with the G15 - nobody could touch them). Hope it is the same here, they will sell loads.

Believe me the car looks great - it even made me (nearly) take my eyes off the girlies....

There are some fit and finish issues on these first ones (the boot lid was catching on the white one), bit generally it is really very, very good for a hand-made car - double skinning on the bootlid, etc and some very sharp lines. Very well done to all concerned.

^^^ Blimey.
In which case it is all down to price. If they can get it on the road for £25k they will need a bigger factory.

It's £1000 more then a Focus ST, has the same 0-60. but the ST has a bigger engine and more power laugh

don't think so...when you look at this picture the front of the four pot is almost against something...

so I think it must be short...V6 or V8 biggrin so I dont mind that the I-6 won't fit, I love V8 power/sound

I sincerely hope not, it being a dog of an engine. I speak from having owned one.
