Hi, Does anybody know what the engine mounts in the G31 are from? I'm sure a read somewhere they used special engine mounts to lower the engine slightly, although mine say ford on them?? cant seem to find any pictures of cortina engine mounts to compare mine to.

Engine mounts themselves are around 30-35mm thick and the bolts are offset around 10-15mm, does anybody know what theyre off or any similar ones?

Square/rectangular or round?

Got a picture of yours?

These are mine - modified somewhat to drop the engine back.

Hi, thanks for your help smile Mine has just the standard pinto mounts, and what I think could be standard round rubbers like yours that have been stretched or have stretched with time? I'm not sure?

I was wondering if I could make a bracket or something, so looks like welding a bit on like yours might be a idea smile its either that or there are some volvo 240 engine mounts with offset bolts on ebay that look like they might fit depending on how big they are smile

If round then are the mounting bolts in the centre of the steel part of the mounting or definately mounted offset - I would suggest that they should be concentric and that they are standard mounts and just that the rubber has crept with time.

Stock rubbers - have a look on the Burton Power site
