need some help please. Trying to get a message out to Ginetta owners and ideally would like to make contact with active club members in the above areas. Am organizing a run/meet for non massed produced cars, from Atoms, Cobras, thru to Westies. Its a run with a twist: 4 start points in the South all heading to Bentley Wildfowl/Motor Museum nr Lewes. Have had a good response so far with about 40 owners onboard. Anyone in contact with local organizers / active members? Anyone wanting more info welcome to PM/Email me. Owners welcome to join in from set start points, or if those aren't convenient make their own way to the venue. 6th Sept, aiming to arrive 11.00, venue has said that cars can park on lawned area and create a bit of a spectacle. Appreciate any help.

Sadly I have no Ginetta..
However I will be at Bentley Wildfowl to take alot of photos when you arrive.
I do love seeing classic cars.

I'll be up for this, car is still an ongoing project though.
Unfortunatly its pointless arranging a drive from where I am but will try and get the word out to people I know.

How many Ginetta's are there around Eastbourne? So far I've seen a green G20 and I think a blue G4 roadster.
btw. I live in Etchingham.
I don't think my '97 Charade classes as a classic car yet biggrin

Still.. looking forward to the day.
Apparently September 5th at Bentley is a Japanese Performance day (mostly Subaru's).
Be a great weekend biggrin

quick update on the run/meet. So far have 40 positives from Caterhams, cobras, tigers, nova, gt40, locosters,mk etc. still waiting a few more numbers as westies+ surrey caterham havent given me any numbers as yet, same for robin hoods - so with a decent day could see that grow to 50 which would be brilliant.
justin-w - wondered if you'd bumped into the other ginetta owner or the Melos?

I've passed given them both a message, trouble with the Ginetta one is he's not on the O/C or here. Just happened to be someone I bumped into at my old work and so an old colleague was going to pass on the message.

Justin, as you say finalt numbers will be weather dependant - but so far in excess of 50 positive replies and actually still been adding a few new names in last days! if you are by yourself why not join the sussex it car folks - they'll be meeting at Chiddingly, am sure they'd welcome an extra bit of company!

It was a great day. I got a load of pics which I'll share a few later.
Thanks to who brought along the Blue G20r. My fav car of the moment. no idea how many photos I took of it.
There was also a black G32.
Was that your one Justin? it needs a bit of attention wink

Yeah, mechanically its fine. Just got to finish the interior off with new seatbelts, and doorcards recovered when I find someone willing to give them ago. Apparently its a difficult job that no-one wants to touch other then that all whats needed is a respray.
As for the G20R it was the one I knew from my old work, hes doing the Brighton speed trials next weekend so if you want to see it again theres your chance.
