I will be selling my G27 series 4 (MX5 headlamps) soon but am unsure of its value. It took me two years to build and passed the SVA/registered in Oct 2005 with an age related plate. It has an MOT till Oct 09 but no road tax and has completed 1500 miles. The engine is a 2.0 Pinto with a race cam and twin 45's producing 155 BHP (125 BHP at the wheels) through a 5 speed box and LSD. It has discs all round with goodridge hoses and is on 15 inch rims with Toyo tyres. It has been sprayed blue with only one or two stone chips and has a tonneau cover. Virtually all parts used for the build were reconditioned or new except for the engine, gearbox and LSD. Any advice on it's current value gratefully recieved.

I have taken 5 photos. I loaded 2 onto a share site as per the guide to include here, but only part of the photos were visible. After much mucking about trying to get it to work I gave up!!!!! All 5 photos are still on the computer.

National Kit Car Show first week of May 3rd/4th (Ginetta club will be there)
- that's where I would take it to sell.

How much were you thinking of selling for?

Do you only have a tonneau - no full wet weather gear?

Does not look like there would be weather gear as no press studs on rear lip of deck.

Looks a very nice car - but values are always very subjective - be interested to know what the owner thinks its worth.

Can't recall which VW blue I wanted for my G11 - I was really hooked on it at the time, but for some reason it wasn't available so I was desperate to get something near to the VW blue, ended up with Gemini Hawaian Blue (sounded cool) too.

If the seller takes the G27 to Stoneleigh he better pray it doesn't rain then. Usually weather is good - in fact, I can't remember a wet Kit Car Show?
Probably put the kibosh on it now, haven't I!frown

Just an additional. Don't really like the lower fog/reflectors - do you not have to have reversing lights?

Thanks for all the help and comments, to answer some of the queries the colour is Agian blue by Peuguot, I declared it SORN last October as I have changed jobs and just don't get the time to use it. No, there is no weather gear apart from the tonneau cover, but GKD do side windows, soft and hard tops that fit. As to the value I was thinking about 8K, but some friends thought that it would be worth more so I thought I should ask those in the know to get a realistic price.

The fog and reversing lights are from a PT Cruiser. I chose them for their simple lines and uniformity rather than the usual recessed round lights and separate reflectors.

looks a bit like an "Opel Manta, Series 1" from the rear.
