Very encouraging reading that. Let's hope the Ginetta logo is displayed well.

Portuguese team as well?

Quifel-ASM will compete in the Le Mans Series with Miguel Amaral and Oliver Pla at the wheel, it has also submitted an entry for the Le Mans 24 Hours. Quifel-ASM will complete further testing of their new Ginetta-Zytek during February again at the Estoril circuit.

Any other info on possible Ginettas at Le Mans?

The factory have an entry to the Le Mans Series, so might have also requested one for the 24hrs.

As far as I know, and I'm just i.c. the tea and coffee making, is that it will be just FunCup racing in 2009.

I asked the factory a couple of months ago. They said that there would be no factory entry to Le Mans but that they would be supporting a couple of teams entering Ginetta Zytek cars

Full entry list on news story below... looks like they have 3 with the team entry in LMP1 (which is a suprise as I thought they were only supporting the cars and not entering one themselves!)

Absolutely! I am taking the G33 and will try and find the biggest Ginetta Stickers I can get. I tried to blag some off the factory and failed cry

It would be great if a Ginetta can beat an Aston, Just think of the impact on residuals, I wonder if the value of my car would ever reach that of a DB5 rofl

Hi James

It depends where you are planning to stay, I go with a bunch of petrol head property people and we stay in a Chateau. We are lucky the owners of the chateau open it up just for us every year, the rest of the time its their family home! I think you can still get ferry crossings, general admission tickets are easily available. We will cross portsmouth-st malo out and caen portsmouth back. Owing to recession that are fewer of us this year!

It would be great to see another Ginetta.

Our convoy this year looks like My G33, Ferrari 355, Porsche 911, Lightweight Etype and new focus RS (if Ford can deliver in time).

If you go, I will nearer the time email you with deatils of a great place to go on friday evening before the race. Great cars and no chavs, my Ginetta always gets attention, and i am sure yours would it looks so good, i suspect it sounds good too.

As for stickers, the factory did give me the name of their sticker manufacturer so maybe we should get some made up!

My car at Caen on the way back last year. The pics in the Ginetta Phots thread are at my favourite le mans location.

Okay, you've got me hooked - tell me more about this chateau!

I am thinking of driving down in my gulf coloured G10 so I can support both the Ginettas abd Astons!!

Need to know a little about the location and costs of the rooms, if you have space.

Thanks
