The X-Bow (crossbow) is featured in Autosport today as a competitor in this season's GT4
(we'll see where it comes!laugh)

Rivals are listed at end of feature (all about twice the cost of the G50!)

G50 'was unbeatable last season' (Autosport quote)

Lotus 2-11 'will be the one to beat' (Autosport quote)

...sorry?

It was AutoSPORT not AutoCAR (ie Lotus Weekly)? yep!

laugh'the one to beat' indeed!laughlaugh

These mags are sooooo funny at times.

I wouldn't be so sure this year John. After last year I reckon the 'equalisation'(ie slowing down of certain cars) will make some more equal than others...

I can see that James, but the numbers of 2-11s that actually line up on the grid will tell me. If several do line up this will be the first serious in your face battle of the 2 famed companies for years.

While Mark's G4 blew the Elise away in Roadsports it never got the airing it deserved in the press.

'This' will be a little harder to ignore - 'if' the G50 does turn in the right performances against the 2-11 (forget the X'bow etc they're insignificant here) then it will herald a changing point.

Whilst the G50 was undoubtedly one of the "quicker" cars it also had the best drivers in them as well (in that category), possibly the best 7 or 8 drivers on the BGT4 grid.

I don't think the title sponsor is entering GTs... Therefore no.

The X-box and the 211 will run in the GT4 "lights" sub catagory of GT4 this is because they are under the minimum weight limit for GT4 and neither run their own high level one make series or are true GT looking cars.
