Not sure yet, depends on the misses and work. Would be up for camping in the paddock if i can make both days.
I dropped ginetta a line a month ago about arrangements for parking etc, but heard nothing as yet.

Same here, emailed Ginetta at the weekend but no reply as yet....very unusual!

I'll definitely be there both days having missed the previous 2 anniversary events. Camping if its fine or slightly damp, hotel if its typical British summer weather.

Was is it with them ?? They NEVER seem to answer any emails ?? Poor show if you ask me, even if they can't help a courtesy reply is warranted.

How about somebody send an email saying you want to buy a G50 and see how quick they come back ?!

Just to clarify, I did get an email back telling me they would let me know in the coming weeks. I've not heard of any plans since.

So are we on for some form of convey from the North? Will be leaving from Junction 39 area of M1 in the subtle yellow machine! (also the engine is coming out after mallory and until then it's a little tempremental with a party piece that involves stalling and refusing to start again in the worst possible situations for no reason - i could therefore do with the backup!)

Plenty of grass around to camp on but not sure of camping rules? Ginetta are laying on a Party Sat night but you'll need a ticket from them to get in.

Well according to the Mallory website saturday is free, sunday is £12 on th gate or £10 in advance, and a charge may be made for camping. Where did you hear about the tickets Harvey, or is it limited to members of the GOC now?

What i'm hoping is that ginetta have organised somewhere to park all the cars up rather than the public car park?

Just to keep everyone up to speed I have had an email from ginetta regarding this.
Members of the GOC are getting an invite.
There are problems accommodating dedicated ginetta parking in the paddock due to the nature of the circuit, which is fair enough. The question is therefore I guess have the GOC got any parking plans on the outside of the circuit?

Turning up to an event celebrating ginetta and having them scattered in the public car park when they could be putting on a show seems like a real missed opportunity.

Edited to say I've had another email from Charlie who must be working late! Something will be arranged somewhere.

James.

Sounds like a plan James. I like the sound of your cars party piece, it'll give me chance to catch up rolleyes

Club Invites going out soon. I'll be joining the M1 start at the A64/A1 but not sure which day yet.

So now I dont know if I'd be welcome in my Ginetta or not. I left the club in a huff a couple of years back and haven't got round to rejoining since the regime change. I'm still a huge Ginetta enthusiast though but will that be enough to get me a spot to camp and park up with other Ginetta owners?

Wouldn't mind joining you at A64/A1M junction Harvey if the timing's right. Could also meet up with James at Wooley Edge as I'll be due a leg stretch by then.

If the first event at Cadwell was anything to go by, many of the owners club people I met were fairly new (myself included) and didn't know each other or the longer term members anyway.
The invite I got is via the club from LNT (Ginetta) and says that anyone arriving in a Ginetta can get free entry. You'll only need a club membership card if arriving in another car for free entry.

Personally I'm happy for a chat with anyone - member or otherwise and whatever they drive!

If you want tickets to the saturday night do, drop LNT an email and see if they are available to anyone.

I am not a member at the moment so I emailed LNT Ginetta. If i can escape I will be going. Problems getting kids looked after and G33 wont take 3 of us.

Turn up in a ginetta and you will be fine seems to be the bottom line.
I'm heading down early Sunday morning from Junction 39 of M1 if anyone wants to meet up?

James.

G32Turbo,
All Ginetta Owners are welcome and I'm sure you'll get free entry but Club members need to take their Membership card for entry so who knows? I think ordinary entry is around £16 for race day but I'm sure non members will be able to blag free entry too if in a Ginetta.
I'm waiting to see the Weather for the weekend before I decided which day to go on or if to Camp Sat night and go to the party.
Send me a PM or email to arrange a meet to run down there if you wish.
