Off to Le Mans on thursday in the G33. Wondered who else is taking a Ginetta. I will be doing the Portsmouth St Malo crossing on the way out and the Caen Portsmouth crossing on the way back.

Sounds great and I wish I were going this year. Trouble is for me the 6 hour drive in the UK to the South Coast is a nightmare. Last time we did it we missed out Ferry due to road works holding us up. We ended up staying up for nearly 48 hours to see the race!
I also like going over for the Classic Le Mans too which is a bit more relaxed.
Have a good time and post some Photos of the G33 in Le Mans!

I will try and get some pics of course. ^ hour drive in the UK is a pain I agree, bvut the french roads make up for it.

geeeman, what variety of A310 have you got? I took my A110 to LM a few years ago and most of the others I saw were people I knew from UK!

This was at Donnington a couple of years ago for the Renault WSR meeting. The car was recently imported so still on the french plates back then. The colour is rare jade green, but was the colour of the first ever a310 v6 that was displayed at geneve motor show..
how many Ginetta owners have alpines?? You have an A110, do u have a Ginetta as well?
i know of another ginetta owner who i think has a black GTA..

I think there were two G33s at LM this year.. One was at St Saturnin on Friday morning.. but he'd gone by the time I'd got round most of the cars.. frown I don't think that was your car - it was a red one.

I've got a G21 as well as the Alp - previously various G4/G15s. I expect the owner of the black GTA is Trevor Brown who still has the bits of his G15 stored in a couple of bin bags

Hi, nice to hear from you. Love your taste in cars. I used to have a marcos mantula v8, would love a wooden chassis marcos though. Yours looks real smart. The A310 4cyl is what i really wanted when i started looking in France..
So quite a few owners with Ginetta and Alpine!

Thanks, HL, I had a chat with him, or rather he chatted and I listened - you know what he's like!

Why are my posts coming out green? I deny any connection with green things, e.g. peace, vegetables, etc.

Hi Geoff, hope you are well - see you at Mallory?

How does anyone (Trev Brown) 'lose' their licence through ill health?

Is this the DVLA thought police 'you're unwell, give me your licence' thing?

Bloody country. Loads driving on drugs and full o booze but they can't seem to catch them - well, only once they've crashed or killed themselves or others!

However, make yourself an easy target and 'BINGO'!
Friend who was having a couple of dizzy spells thought he'd better get a check up, couldn't see his GP and saw an eco green GP 'Did you drive here?' 'Yes.' She asked if he had his driving licence with him (like a fool he said... 'yes'... again! She took it and told him it would be sent to Swansea. Gobsmacked (fool) has since seen HIS GP and found there is nothing wrong with him, but can he get his licence back... looks like a struggle.

Moral here somewhere.
