The Newark Kit Car Festival June 21 –22 2008

Full details are at URL: http://www.kitcarshow.co.uk/

Whilst I hope you have all booked the Hotel for your Ginetta 50th Celebration Meal in July please don’t forget our regular shows this year.

Newark is booked and I hope to have the Club Tent and BBQ in action for members.
We will be on Stand 46 again South of the main Halls.
A map of the site can be downloaded from here

http://www.kitcarshow.co.uk/downloads.php

It’s a friendly 2-day show, which is great for meeting up and chatting with other Ginetta owners. We always have technical guys available to help answer your build questions and all the family are encouraged to join in which makes the weekend a great social event.
The organisers always have good entertainment laid on free of charge in the on site Events Hall on the Friday and Saturday nights so it’s well worth camping or staying nearby for the weekend. Plenty of beer usually flows each night whilst your kids wear themselves out on the dance floor!

It’s not “just Kit Cars” on display as some suggest. There are a good variety of specialist stands; classic car and bike displays, tools and auto jumble along with the main KC manufacturers exhibition Halls. If you are looking to buy or even sell a car there is a special area for cars for sale too.
The BBQ is free to club members but feel free to bring along any buffet extras you fancy and please do you best to help out during each day.
We will require extra help to erect and dismantle the Club tent Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon please.

So bring along your cars and come and join us for a great social weekend.

Please contact me if you need more information via the GOC.

Haven't been to the Newark show for years. I always used to think it was as good as Stoneleigh at one point.

Trouble with a lot of summer do's - clashes with hols as this does, as had to keep the July Mallory do clear.
