There's no stopping these boys (G50)
Discussion
I have to agree.
Plenty of comment on TVR thread, some like some don't but in my book it has the impact - looks great in the Focus ST orange (assume it's that).
Be interesting to see if the Press follow it.
Little so far, only in Motorsport News.
Plenty on here though!

Lawrence brought the new G50 home in 2nd place - in its first ever race...! AND it was a GT4 event!

I agree again, the frontal treatment now it has headlights looks the business. (Trouble is pics are only thumbnails - wonder what they have used/are from? This is moving so fast, quite a surprise but the cash and at last the will is there.
If it gets no press in 'Autosport' this week then 'they' want bl... shooting.

.... and 4th today! Two strong, solid runs! FYI the thumbnails should enlarge if you click on them... Not obvious I know - I updated to the latest web software - and it doesn't turn the curser into a little hand...! But all went well in Nogaro :-D
Thanks to all!
The thumbs don't enlarge. Shame. Thanks to all!

Hmm... strange... I just double-checked on a different PC and the ones in the 'Quick Report' from Nogaro do enlarge.Having now seen the "lights in" picture, I'll give the design a thumbs-up, a nice blend of classical and modern without looking too much like a kitcar.
Next up, seeing one in the flesh.
Jay, any news on a UK debut, or will the Autosprout Show be the first chance to see it?
Congratulations to Team LNT and all involved, lets just hope that the G50 Cup is a success and hopefully we'll see one or two in BGT or similar!
All round an excellent result, especially when you look at the machinery that they were up against.
Just one Q, have all the GT4 equalisation pieces of work been carried out on all the cars (including the G50)?

Not strictly true as i'm sure that any Ginetta rolling up to the factory would find its driver welcomed with open arms and a cuppa!
Or even any passer-by interested in the car would probably be welcomed by a free beer and pack of biscuits by Jay....
Was a good result by the whole LNT team to get the car running - let alone semi-competitive and a podium finish on Day 1...And if the G20 series (junior & senior) continues to grow in strength and stature then that just adds to the whole rejuvenation!
Nice one! Why not have a draw for a track session in the G50..?

Speaking to the SRO at Magny, they say a minimum of 300 cars have to be produced. As I understand it, there will a different class in GT4 for cars that dont meet the minimum requirements, like the Ginetta.

Or, it'll be like the Mosler in GT3, where they can be raced in the National championships but not the 'proper' FIA series.Anyone seen any news on how the Avon/British GT tests went yesterday? The G50 was meant to be attending.
There's a link to the MST timing from the day on a thread in the "GT Racing" forum of this site....
