Does anybody know a good insurer for these cars. Cant be insured on classic policy as not old enough. Does that mean they have to be on a kit-car policy??

Try Hagerty Insurance - Just insured my TVR Chim 500 and my Ginetta G33 4.5 all for the princely sum of £450 p.a. Must be garaged, 3K miles, must be a second car.

Try www.competition-car-insurance.co.uk/. They insure G4Addicted's Dare G4 - we had issues with the previous insurers, who refused to take out the 'small print' about the car needing to be locked, when a G4 does not have any locks...

Have you tried Sure Term Direct, www.sureterm.com/car.htm

They've quoted/insured me pretty well this year, considering im only just coming 22 next month.

We were with sureterm and it was them who would neither confirm nor deny how they'd handle a claim given the car doesn't have locks ... Hence the switch!

sureterm quote was quite high.
Hagerty best quote so far,, £308.00 for Dare G4, garaged in London, limited mileage, and with an Agreed Value.
Dont think i'll find better than that....
