Just been speaking to Mark Walklett getting the latest info.
The new car is progressing slowly due to the amount of time spent on making existing cars to sell.
These include a few G12s, including one with a 300bhp Duratec, plus there was the time spent developing the LHD G4 and the 'long wheelbase' G4.
Apparently the new car isn't that far off being ready, though things were held up a lot by ditching the original transverse turbo Duratec V6 in favour of inline LS V8 and transaxle.
With 400bhp it should be one hell of a car when it's finished.

Also you talked about some G12's...are they making a few or are they selling a few? don't understand...
Hi Rene,
As far as I know they only make them to order so all the ones they've been making are already sold. Some going to Japan but the 300bhp Duratec car is staying in the UK.

I saw the Gardner Douglas G70 replica in Practical Performance Car this month, and it struck me immediately how alike it was to the 'screened' G16 - what price a continuation series of the G16, I wonder? The BIG advantage to the G16 would be that people taller than Ivor could get in it... (no offence Ivor - I love my G4'LA' (LA is the suffix Spadge added to the long cockpit car - it stands for Lard *rse!)
Mario, what series will you be racing in? I have seen a couple of G12's racing in either the SR & GT or Classic Sports car Clubs "Swinging Sixties" series. A Duratec engined car may not be eligible for the latter but it should be eligible for the SR & GT & with 300bhp would probably be very competitive.
