Can I interest anyone in some pictures of the "scheduled for demolition" Ginetta factory building in Sudbury which I took about 2 years ago?
Email me if you want a look and i'll put them on a web page, or something.

I took this in 1971 when I went to Ginetta to order a new G15...

The G15 is outside the WITHAM works, the other posters are looking for SUDBURY pics. Do you have the full reg of that yellow 15 outside Witham works? Looks like J

Right.. I remember now, I ordered the car from Whitham but it was built at Sudbury... Sorry no record of the registration plate of the yellow demonstrator I'm afraid.

Mine was HBY 993K. I wonder if it's still around?

Nice moody shots.

Last record I have is Andy and Alison Newman - it had a Hartwell 998 engine?

I suspect Ginetta Club registrar will have more up to date details but he's away at the mo.

Are those 12" or 13" steel wheels on that car? I'm quite interested in fitting steelies to my G15, and wondered what they were off (they look a bit like HA Viva wheels?)

Standard steel wheels as supplied with the kit - don't recall the size but 13" I reckon? It had am Imp Sport 875 motor (I think) when I had it. I built it over Easter 1972 and sold it in December 1973 to buy an Elan Sprint.

More pics here and you can see the wheels better...
