Hello all

I have recently bought a G40 & put it on the road, looking online for info & other members? Am I missing something or is this really the only place for Ginetta information? Ginetta owners club looks like a non starter....seems to be quite a few G40s out there in road/race form

Lewis.

There is not a lot out there that I can find. I get most of my info here.

I have a 2015 GRDC car.

I looked at ginetta owners club but didn't sign up as paid membership and it only ran as per their year (so I was going to lose out on most of the years membership). Haven't bothered joining since.

I did think about setting up a G40 facebook page but wasn't sure if there would be the demand?

Used to use a Caterham one and it was great. Found it really useful to quickly post a picture of an issue etc and get replies back.

I'll easy set something up if folk were interested?

Ps. To set up the facebook group it looks like you need at least one other email address of someone to add to start the page

I think A Facebook group for the G40s would be a great way of sharing pictures & technical help, maybe organise some meet up for local members etc

That's a facebook group set up...

If you search "Ginetta G40 Owners" it should come up.

Not designed to take away from this forum but be good to organise events etc

By not limiting it to G40R and just G40 in general it will hopefully allow the group can grow to a decent size and we can all get more out of it.

Cheers,

Dave

Hi Gents,

The Ginetta Owners Club membership runs by financial year, and often if you're a new member they'll do a half year or round the months up.

Lots of events arranged by the club with often discounted or free tickets and across the country, which easily pays back the £28, as well as the online forum, quarterly mag etc.

They have an ever growing relationship with the factory, LNT will be attending the 60th Anniversary event, and the factory not so long ago donated all the heritage moulds to the club to support keeping the older cars on the road.

There are a couple of G40 owners in the Ginetta Owners Club, but definitely not enough. The more the merrier.
