I've seen one LHD G40 in a video on YouTube, so I assume its possible, but anybody know if any left the factory in road-legal trim?

For anybody searching and finding this in the future - the factory said no - although they'd happily make me a G40R, they won't make one LHD.

I’m pretty sure I saw LHD in build at the factory.

When the G40 was first released there was a French agent. It is unlikely they sold rhd cars.

Thanks, it was registered in Belgium.
Now we only take the car with a trailer to the track.

It is more a race car than a Lotus.
So if you have to drive a long distance to the race track then it is easier with a trailer.
I have a Lotus Exige Cup and that car is easier on the road for long dinstances.

Looks lovely!
I saw a LHD one in a YouTube video after launch, but was told by the factory no LHD would be made again after that one - good to know they do exist!
We're a couple of km from our local track, but would still go through the registration process so I could take it into the nearby mountains too.

Hello,

would be very kind, if you can contact me. I also would like to have a LHD G40. But sadly, I am confused by the Registration in Germany. If you could share some informations about the Registration with me, that would be very nice. I have the info, that the G40 will have no COC. Just a V5 paper. But I get no Information and Support from ginetta to get a german Registration. So your experiences about the Registration would be very important for me. adly I can not write a private E-Mail to you, as ihave registratede right now, and I Need to wait 24hours. But I think, you can write me a private E-Mail, what would be very kind.

thank you.

best regards

Sorry for the late answer.
It will be better if you register the car in the UK.
Because in Belgium it took too long to get it registered.
I've seen a white G40R on pictures at the Nürburgring, was that you?

Hello,

I can not see your email address…
Maybe you can try to contact me? Normally you should see my email address.
Right now the G40R is for sale because I have now a G55.

Know it's a long time ago, but still for sale? Where was it registered?
