Hello All,

My first post here. I am strongly considering the purchase of a G20 project to put together for track only. The purchase will include most parts to make a rolling chassis set up for the 1800 Zetec with diff hanger and box mounts for a Type 9, drive shafts for a Ford diff, Zetec manifold and silencer.

It looks as if much of the Zetec and Sierra bits are getting less popular, being replaced by MX5 drivetrain.

Is anyone here familiar with the parts required to swap a G20 from Zetec/Type 9/Sierra drivetrain to the MX5?

If I purchase this G20 I will be taking it back to the US with me where the MX5/Miata is plentiful, but there aren't too many Sierras with Zetecs running around.

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Certainly not much in the way of information on Ginetta here.

I bought a G20 ex race car from Stuart Pearson. Hopefully I'll be able to put the boxes of parts back together at some point.

Congratulations. The G20 build manual is available in PDF. I was emailed a copy by the factory parts manager. That might be a start for you.

Thanks Mike.

David Preston sent me the PDF version and Stuart Pearson gave me a hard copy with the car.

Plenty of work to be done.
