G20 Missing Chassis Plate
Discussion
My 2005 Ginetta G20 Coupe is missing the chassis plate from atop the pedal box, anyone know who I need to speak to for having a new one made up? I have the MSA log book which has the chassis number.
I sent an enquiry through the Ginetta website under parts and ordering which seemed the best suited option but never heard anything back.
Also, does anyone have a copy of the .pdf build manual that was floating around? I did have a printed copy but it's gone walkabout.

I can help you with the pdf build manual. I've struggled messaging people via PH recently so let me know an email address I can forward it to. It’s about 6MB.
No idea on the chassis plate though. Mine is literally an ali plate with G20R RHD 200x/0xx stamped into it IIRC. Looks bona fide enough all in nice straight lines dot engraved, but whatever other paint or markings were originally there are long gone! When I’ve inquired with the current LNT run Ginetta recently regarding the G20 they’ve been most polite but apparently no longer hold any information relating to the cars, they’re geared up for the G40 and above.

I've had the same experience with LNT, always very friendly but I guess it's hard work for them to share info like that from when it was 2 men in a shed and not the very slick business it seems to be now. I went to the Sunday Service last weekend at Ginetta and found myself emptying my piggybank as soon as I got home to see if I could stretch to a G40, a resounding no unfortunately!
Replied with manual attached. Let me know if it arrives OK.
Aye I'd quite fancy a ~200bhp G40 too, would save me watching the weather forecast quite so intently ahead of track days! Either that or a Dare G4 sufficiently stretched to fit my lanky frame in. Dreamy dreamland for now what with family life devouring the finances, at least the G20 goes some way to scratching the itch

For anyone who finds themselves in a similar conundrum, the simplest solution I've found is get a plate from these guys and get stamping.
