Fuel Gauge and sender Questions for G20
Discussion
The fuel gauge on my G20 is pegged to empty with the tank full and we were thinking the sender was bad but after a search i came up with this post from B-T on pistonheads in 2009:
"I would also like to get a fuel gauge sending unit that matches the ohm range of the Smith's gauges in the dash (currently it read empty when full and about 5/8 when empty)."
So what the hell? I would have thought the sending unit and the gauge would have been compatible Smiths units to begin with?. Is this a common issue and does anyone know what sending unit would work with the gauge? We're also not sure how to access the sender. anyone with help would be appreciated. i can also be reached via email: jcole@jeffreycolearchitects.com. thanks. PS look at my turbo install down the posts if interested.

My US Spec G20 reads full when full, but goes dry at about a quarter tank. I'm not sure what the fuel tank is sourced from, Mazda or something else. I did get matching instruments from a US supplier. They should be able to help with your sender, if you identify the source of your tank. US source was Info@gaugeguys.com
My blower mod is nearly done. Ironing out a few bugs. Picture posted with your turbo thread.
