My G4 is still sleeping in the garage and was wondering if there is anything fresh in the land of Dare's garage?

Depressing isn't it?

Seems that way unless something is around the corner, who knows?

Even more depressing is having to put up with re-incarnation of Jensen (how many times can it rebirth and disappear?), and as for the thing called the Zenos E10 S - splashed in Autocar (and on here of course) as if this is some miracle sports car with no doors and no roof, costs min £33k when you look into it, and worst of all weighs about a 100 kilos more than a G4. Probably handles ok, end of story. Watch it appear at the next motor show, then the next, then disappear like all the rest before it.

Back to Dare. If it were me I'd have just carried on building G4s. Convinced there is a market still.

My Dare G4 started with minor difficulty after sitting for the last 5 months in a cold garage..

Great to have it out. Everyone who sees it, gives it a thumbs up.

Compared to the Elise, there is no comparison--the G4 wins every time.

I love to get in the order line for the larger G12 that has been rumored for years!

Okay, I'm grumpy, tired of the long midwestern winter (though it really hasn't been that bad) and grumbling that there has never been even a photo of the "G12 for 6 footers".

My G4 will be on the road in the next few weeks and draws positive looks of admiration every time it is on the road. Why Dare didn't complete this project escapes me. Anyhow, their cars are well received in the USA when seen!

The G4 needed a bit of help to get started this year. With professional help, she is good to go--and drawing admiring glances.

Car covers about 1,000 miles a year--any high mileage Ginetta's out there?

Heard a rumour that there are problems with G4/12s passing IVA?
Also that the company which owns the rights to Ginetta G4 and G12 has gone into liquidation.

Lawrence Tomlinson should buy the rights back and put them in to production. Doubt he is interested, though, sadly.

But he would probably make more money on those than on trying to do G40s for the road.

have a look at;
https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/0313723...

looks like the company will not be finally wound up until 2018.....
I imagine the rights will be sold off as a main asset???

I imagine (if they were ever owned directly by that company) that they have already gone elsewhere. I suspect it was just a distribution company looking at the paperwork.
