Lee Mumford (and the other G4) really went well in the Fordwater Trophy race on Sunday.
'Just' beaten by one of the TR4s.

Very good close racing. Plenty of 'offs' and a 'wheel lost' on one car.

Tiny G4s looked so good!

There is a full replay of all three days on youtube - unless you live in the UK!
Surprisingly the 1 litre G4 recorded the same top speed as the 1500. How did he do that? rolleyes

I saw that bit about 'unless you live in the UK' - I wondered what the heck was going on?
What's that all about?

Think the top speed the same has got to be input error by some fool who's probably never heard of a G4.

all to do with TV licence agreements I guess, Motors TV showed some stuff 'live' - despite their title at the start of the programmes (and Virgin Media's EPG) saying it was the Goodwood Festival of Speed rolleyes

if you can spoof your country as somewhere other than the UK you can probably watch it (my ex lives in the USA now and can use BBC iPlayer etc using that method) wink

actually it becomes obvious when you try to watch the YouTube stuff as at the bottom of the screen it has SUBSCRIBE for more great Goodwood Road & Racing videos here - http://bit.ly/GoodwoodTV

which translates to 'Lord March wants even more of your money before he'll let you see a recording of stuff...' all IMHO of course

Something needs to be added to that, in that it also beat everything else in the field, inc the Loti. biggrin
