Dare G12 road legal

was racing at brands on saturday , spotted this G12... road legal, and 280 BHP

with appropriate reg too! (not taken by the rear lights, but colour is good)

What ££££ are we talking for that?

A couple of chaps came along while I was looking at it and asked if it was mine. I wish! They didn't know what it was, and ended up getting a rather longer explanation than they really wanted...

the ecoboost 2litre is supposed to have 'similar power and torque as a 3 litre v6 but with 20% better fuel consumption and cleaner emmissions'

Sadly doesn't sound as good as a V6...

It was on a poster at Prescott on Sunday (Nick was there competing in his G4). If I go past I will drop in a get the number and pm you. Could be a week though as I dont usually go that way.

it is the same chassis and layout as an original G12. mid mounted, longitudinal, with suitable gearbox (such as a hewland type)

Dare still have an all new mid engined car in development



I agree Rene, the power to weight is incredible, the G12 was quick enough when it had 160 hp, let alone 280! (this car would be around 650kg)
I did have a sit in it, and leg room wasnt too bad, but pedals are quite offset in the G12

you mean the clutch leg can be straigth but the gas leg have to go far to the left?

in such case it would be fine in LHD

but then I never seen a LHD G12 believe...
