Oh no! I killed my G27. Hit a flooded road on Newlands pass. Hydraulic lock. Conrod through block. Now in the market for a new zetec. Thanks to Kamper man who gave me and my son a lift to Keswick. Good to meet Matt Stead again at Teesside track the other week.(sorry about the car Matt). Great afternoons entertainment with samol and cheap too.

If you are after a new zetec, Martin at Ginetta is not a bad place to start. His present list for the race engine is £1,100 plus VAT, which is possibly cheaper than Ford.

For a recon, it is the Yellow Pages I'm afraid.

Thanks Rich. If the insurance cough for the damage then I might go for a new lump but most likely a s/h engine and salvage the raceline head if possible.

Oh, plus stay in and watch telly after heavy rain!
