I have a feeling the Ginetta would struggle against the Chevron and Lotus--what do you think?

That was the G60, not the G40.

Anyway is a comparison between a new G40, new Chev GR8 and new Lotus Exige fair?

A G40 costs £29,990

The Chevron prices start at nearly £50,000 (+vat). And it is really a track car only.

The new Lotus Exige in S package is priced 'from' £50,950.

Havaing raced against the GR8's, the G40 wouldn't stand a chance. But with 270 bhp, aero, and sequential box, not surprising! G55 would be an interesting comparison. Don't know enough about the Lotus to comment.

They have 4 cylinders-the Lotus and the Ginetta are theoretical road cars so I can see why the Chevron would win.

20k is a big difference, and the G40 looks 10 times better than both...

If you wanted 50k track car and lets face it you wont use the chevron on the road much, got for a G50.

What would it take to get EVO (or an enthusiast magazine of your choice--Octane?)to include the DARE G12 in a comparison with the Ginetta/Lotus/Chevron?

Also, is the Chevron still in build? Looking at the the Chevron website, it looks like production of the GR8 is done.

The second coming ...or any similar miracle?
