G32 headlight lifter motor

Hi folks,

Has anyone ever replaced one? and with what? My G32 is in the garage having its M.O.T done and it needs a new one.

Not sure about the G32, but I think the G33 uses a windscreen wiper motor and the pods are connected with a steel bar so they open together.

the G4/S4 same. lucas wiper motor, 2 microswitches mounted on a bracket, plus a rod connecting both pods.

They are fiat X19 motors with a knob on the back to allow manual raising

Fiat X19 is almost the same look on ebay for one think they were about £20 second hand. Seem to remember they are the wrong way round on the g32 as in x19 left hand is g32 right hand.

Fiat x19 arnt a direct replacement, will need slight body mods but are recommended
