What happened to the G4 that was going to be in the British GT racing series? I have been looking for it, mind I only view that series via the internet.
Can't wait for GT4. I think they need to do something about the electronic aids like traction control and yaw control. It seemed like in GT3 all the cars had it and it was impossible to compete without it when using a high powered car.

I've got the gt4 prologue "limited demo"
and although you don't get to drive a Ginetta if you finnish half of the shcool mode tasks you get rewarded with a short film.
Smack bang in the middle of this film is a G4 being pushed!!! and a white G15 going round and round in circles.
This game will be in every spotty teenagers room, world wide!!! now that's got to be good publicity.
p.s best car so far is the new bmw m5 with traction control off and road tyres!!!

Have to disagree - I use it to tone up my reactions before a real hillclimb/sprint in my G33, using a TVR on GT3 with max. engine tune but only sports/hard tyres and no 'stability/traction aids'...plenty of slip at both ends focuses you on optimum entry speed, balance through a corner & progressive acceleration out, & beats most of the opposition on race tyres (but only after a rather sad amount of practice). Great fun!
Well I'll have to try it again with something senseable like a tvr. I may be thinking of 800hp monsters. It may be I have become to reliant on TC and yaw control. I just think certain car ought not come with it standard like the TVR. You have to specifically turn it off. I had another problem with GT3 in that some of the cars seem too slow. I think it was the 3 series was absurdedly slow compared to the real thing. It's a cool game thou. Look forward to GT4 and the Nurbergring/Nordscleif.
So GT3 must be pretty realistic if you use it to warm up for hill climbs.

Yes I take your point.
Am also looking forward to Nordschlieffe, & test driving more cars! Certainly I've found it pretty realistic IF you turn off the drivers aids & use normal or sports tyres; Impreza and Griffith are uncannily close to the balance/traction you get on the road & track. Other track driving games are truly rubbish at this, IMO!
