It's certainly listed in the catalogue. The ARGIC code is 9317.

My understanding is that they hold stock. I researched it a few years ago when I bought the G33 as I didnt want a car that could be written off by a windscreen claim

Bored at work, so I phoned the suppliers for autoglass.(laddles I think they are called) They told me they did not recognise the code so there where none. I did source one from National windscreens some years back, but I cant find a listing for the depot now. I might have to take trip up to the location to see if they are still about.

You could try George Douglas at Mobile Windscreens. He's got a G12 and a G16 so he should be helpful.

Anyone asked Harvey Lowson - Ginetta Owners Club (although I think he was having back trouble issues and has not been online for some time).

Worst comes to worst, a group buy is the way out (at least there are more than a couple of you!).

Although as Geoff says, George Douglas should be a first port of call.

Looks like parts and body panels could become an issue down the line if something isn't sorted with all the ex Heritage moulds etc.

TBH the one of the reasons I sold my G33 was the problem of obtaining parts after a small accident. I was lucky to find a G33 that had been rear ended and written off. I needed front parts, like hub upright, wishbone and wheel. Without that crashed car the parts would have been very difficult to obtain especially the upright which is a bespoke Ginetta casting and the car would have been written off

Thanks for all that info so far. Seems to be a problem, but i am sure there are some windscreens around somewhere.

Thanks

Might be worth posting the contact for that breaker just incase he still has the bits....

One of our G33 racer friends bought the rest of the car in its entirety

Ive asked my Local National Windscreens to investigate, as they supplied me my spare. If there are any to be had ill investigate if we can purchase the remaining for safe keeping, or possibly see if Ginetta cars would be will to hold some as spares?

No stock from what I can see, but can be made to order - in whichever colour/coulor combination you like

Wouldn't you have to get a minimum made by Velas in Finland? Are the costs involved higher than buying a "stock" one?

No. We have two UK options.

But, yes, there are cost implications, but not as spiteful as you might expect.

Thats very cryptic! The OP has managed to get one now from the UK from Autoglass for £280 so there must be a few around somewhere. smile

I knew Autoglass had some. I am sure when I enquired 2 years ago they had about 30 or so.
