Hi all,

Just bought a second hand car fitted with a Toad Ai606 alarm. There is no installation certificate in the supplied documentation and my insurance company are insisting on proof or will not provide theft cover.

Where can I gat the alarm install inspected and be issued with the relevant certificate. Also any idea on price?

Many thanks.

The installation is also key to the Certificate, simply having it on the car is not enough for thatcham

You need to find out who fitted it, or pay for an installation inpection and recertification

I had the same problem a few years back, think that was a Toadi606 too.
I used Top Banana from Fleet (mobile service) after a recommendation from a friend. After about an hour of testing and inspecting they gave me a new certificate, cost about £30 I think, might be more now.

I see you're in Surrey, they just about cover Woking and Guildford if they have other work in the area, any further north and it's not really worth their while.
